EAPCET stands for Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test. It is a state-level entrance exam conducted every year in Andhra Pradesh (AP EAPCET) and Telangana (TS EAPCET).

The exam is the gateway for admission into:

• Engineering courses (B.Tech, B.E.)

• Agriculture & Allied courses (B.Sc Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary, Food Technology, etc.)

• Pharmacy courses (B.Pharm, Pharma.D)

It is conducted by JNTU Kakinada (AP) and JNTU Hyderabad (TS) on behalf of APSCHE and TSCHE.

How to Prepare for EAPCET

1. Understand the Exam Pattern

• Mode: Online (Computer-Based Test)

• Subjects:

•  Engineering: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry

•  Agriculture/Pharmacy: Biology, Physics, Chemistry

• Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)

• Total Marks: 160

• Duration: 3 hours

👉 Weightage is higher for Mathematics (for Engineering) and Biology (for Agriculture/Pharmacy).

2. Know the Syllabus

• The syllabus is based on Intermediate (10+2) topics.

• Focus mainly on important chapters in Maths, Physics, Chemistry (for engineering) and Biology, Physics, Chemistry (for agriculture/pharmacy).

3. Make a Study Plan

• Divide your time between all subjects.

• Give extra time to weaker areas.

• Revise regularly to keep concepts fresh.

4. Practice Previous Year Papers

• Solve past EAMCET/EAPCET papers to understand the difficulty level and type of questions.

• Practice mock tests to improve speed and accuracy.
